Review by Luke Valentine (Year 8)
"I sped
through it, finishing it within a week."
I know it is not a novel but none the less it is still a favourite read. It is perfect for a rugby lover and an autobiography lover. This is because Wilkinson (the writer) keeps you interested the whole time.
You can relate to him whatever age you are as it spans his life from toddler to playing rugby with his brother as a 30 year old. I felt I could relate to him as a kid feeling nervous before a game. I read this a couple of times in the summer holiday of 2011 and sped through it, finishing it within a week. I think it helps to read a book a couple of times as you pick up things you didn’t the time before. It will leave you feeling like you have been in his life for the past 30 years. ENJOY!
